IMASA is celebrating 20 years of excellence!

Let us make 2018 a year of remembrance for IMASA.

For this celebration, I humbly request all IMASA members to come up with 20 initiatives to celebrate our 20 years of k2success and to keep IMASA running for the next 20 years.

Initiatives such as:

Ø  Recruiting 20 new members

Ø  Recruiting 20 resigned / terminated members

Ø  Conducting 20 workshops through the country

Ø  Reviving of the Eastern Cape; Free State; Mpumalanga; and Kwa-Zulu Natal

Ø  20 Year coffee mugs

Ø  20 Year note pads

Ø  20 Year newsletter

Ø  Etc….etc.….etc.…

Let’s brainstorm more ideas and share it with co-IMASA Knights. Initiative can be shared amongst various branches

Your participation is crucial for IMASA and to celebrate this BIG celebration!!

The idea is that the initiatives be addressed and executed before the next annual conference in October 2018

Ø  Our Administrator for the past few years, Frans Palm has retired, but not resigned from IMASA. We wish Frans all the best for the future and thank him for his hard and dedicated work.  

André Coetzee is being appointed as the Administrator with effect 1 January 2018. Congratulations André and all of the best.

Ø  IMASA Website: Adele van Rossum, an IMASA member has been appointed to develop and maintain our website. It will be up and running by middle May 2018. J

Ø  Please note that the 20^th Annual National Conference will be hosted by the Western Cape from 17 – 19 October 2018 at Oubaai Hotel, George.

 

Ø  The conference will then also be the barometer for our planned and achieved initiatives.

 

Ø  The Branch of the Year was not awarded – sadly no branch participated.

 

Ø  The Annual President’s Award went to the late Willie Burger.
